A&H: direct outs

Post by endertak » Thu Mar 03, 2016 6:58 pm

i'm looking at the A&H GL2, GL2S, and MixWizard wz3 boards.
These all feature direct outs, but it's not clear to me from what I've read whether or not they are post-fader?

Thanks for info!

In general, direct outs are post fader.

Looking at the GL2 docs online, it looks like there come cuts & jumps to configure where the direct out is in relation to the fader.

On my GL2200 they are post-insert pre-EQ.

I converted them to post-preamp pre-insert. Much more useful for recording.
