Acustica Audio - Aqua / Nebula Plugins

Post by Mustang Martigan » Mon Jan 08, 2018 5:38 am

Hey, I'm interested in the Aqua and Nebula plugins. I tried to demo the N4 a while back, but I had trouble with the activation process.. by the time I figured it out, the two trial plugin libraries (that are offered by AA) had expired. I wouldn't have had to troubleshoot myself if their technical support was at all helpful. I'd rather deal with the cable company over AA's virtually nonexistent support center. They're exceptionally bad when you inquire as a non-customer.

- The trial downloads are giant, 5-10+ GB. Are these plugins CPU hogs?

Thanks

Well,
It looks like you tried them.

LOL.

They did not work out for you as their stuff was too complicated to get going.

Have you tried other companies who make similar stuff?
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

There's a big Acoustic/Nebula fanboy crowd (its worse than UAD in that respect), but it always seems to me that that world is a complete cluster. Between their totally cryptic website and names, I've pretty much written them off.

So far I've tried a few and love em. Presets would be nice just for a,starting point, but I've loved Lime and Pink. Havent had enought time to try sand. Didnt like, diamond color eq, but then found out it's customized for electronica and it all made sense. Heard amethyst is rad; is,that the Amec (or however u spell it)? Wanna try Navy n Gold to hear their Neve emus. And then green for the Massenberg Eq.

What's your host program? I still run PT10 and my system generally works, so I'm not sure how these things would do.
