soundcraft mtk series or similar
i would like a mixer/interface for recording and live use. with a mac and some use with a ipad through the usb cam kit. i had a original soundcraft ghost. these mtk 12 and 22 look like they would fit the bill. primary use is studio. i know they had issues at first. if not these then what. thanks

If I were doing it over and starting from scratch, I could see using one of these as "starter preamps" and slowly building an outboard collection where the Soundcraft would be used for headphone mixes etc.Boomer81 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 8:25 pmi would like a mixer/interface for recording and live use. with a mac and some use with a ipad through the usb cam kit. i had a original soundcraft ghost. these mtk 12 and 22 look like they would fit the bill. primary use is studio. i know they had issues at first. if not these then what. thanks

Re: soundcraft mtk series or similar
When I decided on which small format console I would use for my studio...
I spent almost 10 months listening and testing a lot of different consoles.
I settled on an Allen & Heath GL2800.
Super useful, built like a damned tank. I still use mine daily since 2008. Almost ten years.
I'd recommend them. I use the preamps. I use the mix buss. I use it for headphone mixes.
Cheers

Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
