Hey yall,
Just bought a Tascam 244 and it's been an incredibly creative experience. Love it to bits. I was lucky enough to have an original manual sent with it so Ive been reading that. I am having trouble with panning. I'd really like to figure out how to pan so things are either hard left or right. Anybody know how to do that?
Thank you,
Justin

It’s the blue knob on each channel, right?

Ah yes,
After learning how to use this more I feel I can actually word my question:
When switching the inputs to tape, I am able to stereo pan the tracks as I please. My real question is about bouncing. It seems as if bouncing in stereo might not be possible? When I tried to, with the tracks still panned to their directions, not all the tracks were heard. I also have an inclination that if I were to play the cassette into a player, the panning would not be present? Is this just the nature of this 4 track?
I'm new to this so I'll take all the knowledge I can!
