Monitors - Hanging Instead of Stands
Anyone here hanging their monitors from the ceiling instead of using floor stands? Any issues to watch out for? I'd like to try getting my monitors off my console's meter bridge, but I don't want to sacrifice the floor space that stands would eat up.

The only issue with this is if you need to re adjust them...
And, if you place them above your console, they may create more reflections off the console surface at a higher elevation.
Remember, sound radiates in EVERY direction from speakers, not just directly in front.

Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

I've been to a couple studios where they mounted monitors to arms extending from the wall - 2.5" metal pipe type deal with an elbow and pivots at the wall flange and monitor. No idea what you'd call this or if it's a "true studio product."
Village Idiot.

I imagine places that deal in permanent PA installs in clubs would be a good starting point. And wall mounted versus suspended would permit some range of adjustment. But maybe suspension is the only option in the OP's room...

suspended isn't necessarily the only option, I'm just brainstorming ideas for getting them off the meter bridge. I read elsewhere that hanging them with wire can cause problems because the wire can resonate, but I don't know how much of a problem that would be in practice.
Re: Monitors - Hanging Instead of Stands
Year ago, living in an apartment where the entire structure was a bit shakey (a 4+1 if yer from Chi), I hung my monitors using plant hangers - made from rope.
Worked well, and they were stable enuff not to spin.
