I have used Seymour Duncan's for my guitars forever but have really been getting into bass for local jams.
Short scale (short arms, stubby fingers ) but I play in a melodic style that it suits.
Anyway, suggestions for a no tools replacement for a Hofner, maybe towards a Precision Bass sound.
Thanks and cheers,
Bill

just buy a different bass if you don't like the hofner. if you want a precision, get one. if you need short scale get a mustang it's pretty much the same thing as a precision but short scale. makes no sense ripping out a hofner pickup if you want a precision sound.

Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

Lindy Fralin will re-wind any pickup.

What aa resource of combined experience and knowledge here at TOMB.
I have a First Act short-scale that is scary good. I'll think about the rewind or do nothing suggestions.
