BTW, do you know Nan W.?
For years.
Bloodshot released the first Yayhoos record.
I produced The Blacks for them.
I've given them tracks for samplers over the years including the Ryan Adams song I co-wrote "Monday Night"
I several of the Bottle Rockets records I produced were released by them including the new one.

She won't know me now, but 20+ years ago we were acquainted when she booked a club I played (Club Dreamers), and she was a bartender inna cuppla places (Delilah's) I drank in. Nice lady, and I was around when she and (can't recall his name) her partner were starting the record company, when she worked at the latter bar.
I specifically recall her turning me on to The Rollins Band, for some reason ...

And I have both The Yayhoos records. I have a friend does some work with Mauro, from the Satellites (I think he and Baird recently toured Yurrup?), and I saw Christopher with Shaver ... You guys are great! The Blacks were a bit of a cult phenom, back when; I have the first two records.

Sorry for the OT!
bandcamp;

I built one, I call it The Vault.

It's double-walled, with the inside box floating.

Weighs a ton and if I didn't have access to the scrap finnply and such it would cost too much, but it really works!

Here we're recording bass, drums and guitar in the same room- the drums are just out of the frame to the right. There is no appreciable drum leakage into the guitar and vice-versa. Bass is direct, natch.

video of session. Sound is from camera until the music hits:

This will prove a brave kingdom to me
Where I shall have my music for nothing
