Products by CAIG, which may or may not be around any longer. I think HOSA bought them.
Deoxit Faderlube is the one you need.

And they have other ones for metal resistive pots as well.

Dang it, I just did a whole unit with De-Oxit thinking it was a lubricating cleaner

With all the local Radioshacks closing I had to branch out from tuner cleaner.

there's a different product for plastic conductive and carbon faders called Fn5

make sure you properly ID your faders and pair it with the correct product

Up until recently I just got 'tuner cleaner' from Radioshack, but there's none of those left locally.

I've never done faders yet. Just replaced them.

Is there anything on the market that doesn't lose the physical resistance in a pot after you cleaned it? Seems everything, tuner cleaner, or whatever it goes from having some resistance to turning to just whizzing around?

Deoxit D5 contains a solvent which can damage pots/switches/faders/etc.

I recommend D100 and F100. I´ve used those products when I refurbished my 24-8 last month.
