Sound Designer files

Post by TapeOpLarry » Tue Jul 09, 2019 9:32 am

Does anyone have the ability and knowledge to convert an old Pro Tools session with Sound Designer II files into a current session? I have a mix client (and former Tape Op writer) who wants me to mix something by next Monday and he just discovered this old session is SDII. I'm sure he'd be fine with a little payment. I know that if one has Pro Tools 10 it will convert files. But who has that?

I used to never start session with SDII and now I know why! Proprietary BS....

not sure if it also converts SD files, but I still have a working PT8 system (in addition to my PT 2019 system...) if it ever comes up again... 8)
