I had a younger co-worker asking about vintage Tascam mixers recently. I told him to look for a Ramsa. Tascam made some shitty prosumer gear back in the day, which really doesn't reflect well on their legacy of good tape machines.
I used a Ramsa WR-8118 for years (paired with a Tascam 38) and loved it. Also had an 8724 but it was just too big and needed some repairs. But that series is fantastic!
