Speaker re-coning recommendations?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good resource for reconing studio monitor drivers? I have some TAD TL-1601 drivers that might need it. I sent an email to TAD, but thought I'd check with the fine folks here too.

JAMAC here in Portland is the only place I've ever had do a good speaker reconing for me. All the others have been a waste of money.

I don't get it, I'm embarrassed to say. Actually, it's four. It was a monstrous setup. When I bought the place it came with soffit-mounted monitors that had two 15s and a big wooden horn on each side. Sounded great, but not for critical listening. Too flattering! When we renovated, I shrunk the control room to get a bigger live room. I hope to make cabs to house one 15 and a horn each, much more manageable.

If he's still doing it — I can't recommend Bill Legall @ MillerSound highly enough. This guy is a real artist, he's super-affordable, and he's typically pretty quick. Thankfully, he's local to the Philly area, so I'm able to drive stuff over there. My last re-cone project was like 6-8yrs ago, but he did a phenomenal job. He concentrates on a lot of hi-fi brands, but I've also had him do some JBL mid-fields / some old Gauss studio loud-speakers.
