looks like interfaces are flying off the shelves!
i'm sure i'm not alone in fielding a million recording/gear questions since the lockdown started. i hadn't looked for an interface for anyone for probably a month, but it looks wildly different since i last looked - all the cheap stuff is long gone.
part of me finds this encouraging.

I definitely know a few folks that have jumped onboard or are still contemplating it, or just checking out new DAW software in their abundant spare time.

Hopefully that means we'll have a bunch of records to mix/rescue in 6-8 months.

So funny.
My 67 y.o. guitarist friend reached out to me this AM about how to be able to record remotely.
A really good live player, he has the possibility of becoming a really good recording player - and on my material!
That I'm excited shows in the time I've taken exchanging emails with him about it.
Stay chooned ...

Yep. Seeing lots of people getting themselves into a minimal DAW setup lately. I just bought (ordered) one of those new SSL 2-channel interfaces so I can record at home during this madness. I’ve read decent reviews, and the price is right if it sounds better than my old MBox.

I've thought about a small interface, but its because I want to join Hit Record and do cartoon voices.
