I've never used the real hardware unit so I probably don't really know what the favored uses for this classic reverb are and what characteristics it has which make is such a treasured classic...
Someone school me?
I've been demo'ing the Relab LX480 Rhall - which is the random hall setting and it's decent for sure but not sure I yet understand the hype. It has a darker quality to it's density/tail than some others that I've been using a lot for the past few years (Valhalla Vintage verb being one) and I'm wondering if that is what people like about it as it makes it a little more invisible in a mix... but I am sure parameters could be tweaked to make it brighter too. I can't copy it exactly with VVV.
