Dynaudio BM5 mk III

Post by Mustang Martigan » Mon May 25, 2020 12:29 pm

Unless poor feedback comes in from you guys I think I've decided on Dynaudio BM5 mk III. I've only had cheap 5" monitors in the past. These seem to be the best choice in my price range, as they get a bit cheaper used.

How do these handle bass on their own, without a subwoofer? They're supposed to be clear n accurate with the frequencies they can handle.

Thanks.

I have the BM6A mkII's. have had them for 9-10 years maybe? I like them a lot. I also have a pair of the Equator D5's (that I'm planning to sell, but prefer not to ship if I can...). Anyway, I also now have these:

I was surprised how good they sound for the price -- size is bigger than my BM6Amkii, so if space is a concern...maybe not? otherwise I was impressed by them and use them next to the Dynaudio's.

Twice I had the same pair of BM15s here and I had the same experience both time. I found them very fatiguing. I've always wondered about the other models, but have ben very weary...
