Best pitch correction software?
Best pitch correction software?
I have never enjoyed using pitch correction and haven't had it for nearly a decade. I used to use Melodyne which seemed to work well. Now I find myself in a position where clients expect to have the option. What's the best plugin to use these days for light pitch correction tasks? I'm running a UA Apollo x8p and a PC if it matters.

Re: Best pitch correction software?
if your clients expect a certain software, then seems like you will have to get those.
I would recommend that nobody ever spend money on Waves Tune as it is a total piece of crap (and after going back and forth with their support about glitches and artifacts it would inject into vocal tracks they finally told me that "some audio just does that..." (but to be clear some crappy plugins might "just do that").
I have Melodyne 4 and find it easy to use when I want real pitch correction. But I think if you want funny vocal sounds, then you probably need Autotune since it seems to be used more for that than actual "correction".
