Anyone in Brooklyn wanna help me repair a Lexicon PCM80?

Post by clean_and_humble » Tue Oct 20, 2020 9:06 pm

Hello
Have not posted on here in ages!
I got nostalgic tonight and started perusing the boards
I have a few broken things sitting around my studio that I really should repair.
One of those things is a Lexicon PCM80 and I think all that is wrong with it is the screen
Anyone ever do this repair ?

I also have a handful of guitars I want to get into playing condition.
Anyone in Brooklyn want to tinker ?

I've fixed cheaper reverbs, but am a little reticent about hacking at a PCM80.
What is wrong with the guitars?

I have about 5 or 6 guitars that all need different things. Some just need adjustments and setups others need a bridge and tailpiece. Most need new tuners and some need new electronics. Two of the guitars are Tesco's that are really worthy of the work. One is a Harmony acoustic I found in the trash and the body is cracked but I want to put strings on it and get it playing again.

The Lexicon I am pretty sure just needs a new display screen. I think everything else is working.
Where in Brooklyn are you? I am in Bay Ridge
