I call it the knee mic in PT, especially when I'm going remote tracking and I don't want to use the above terms.

I call it the center mic, although "heart mic" is another good non-genitalia-related term.

For the love of god, everyone PLEASE stop using genitalia-related terms for anything.

Despite my " sausage mic" comment above I always label it as the heart mic. On an analog track sheet it's just a heart with an arrow through it. If pro tools allowed emoji labelling I'd do it there to.
