Way too loud. I know it’s a terrible habit, but I find that listening/mixing loud helps to keep me engaged. I don’t measure very often, but I’m usually somewhere in the neighbourhood of 85db. Not doing 10-hour mix sessions either. More like 3-4 hours with an ear break in the middle.
+1 on cranking it up and listening from the other room. I still do that with every mix, although I feel like I’m relying on that approach less now that I have Sonarworks.
Gonna force myself to mix quieter and compare the results.
How loud do you listen?

That is a really cool feature. Can you set more than one different preset levels?drumsound wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 12:36 am[quote=standup post_id=720745 time=1609816449 user_id=4965]
I'm using a Drawmer monitor controller that has a small button to switch to a preset level. I calibrated it tonight for 62-65 dB.
What's cool about it is no matter where the volume knob is, if I hit the button it goes to 62-65 dB.

Nope. One preset, volume knob for anything else.
