Way too loud. I know it’s a terrible habit, but I find that listening/mixing loud helps to keep me engaged. I don’t measure very often, but I’m usually somewhere in the neighbourhood of 85db. Not doing 10-hour mix sessions either. More like 3-4 hours with an ear break in the middle.

+1 on cranking it up and listening from the other room. I still do that with every mix, although I feel like I’m relying on that approach less now that I have Sonarworks.

Gonna force myself to mix quieter and compare the results.

Nope. One preset, volume knob for anything else.
