Anyone have a Mojave MA200 Mic?

Post by digitaldrummer » Fri Feb 26, 2021 11:35 am

I have a pair of them, but they were both purchased second hand and at different times. I noticed that one has a 5-pin cable and the other has a 7-pin cable. These are cardioid only so need for more than 5 conductors. I asked Mojave support but never received a reply. It seems reasonable that Mojave may have built them both ways depending on what parts were available (and I should note the MA300 is multi-pattern so it does use a 7-pin connector) or its possible one of mine was "repaired" at some point by the previous owner.

So I'm just curious if yours has a 5 or 7 pin cable?

I’ve got a pair of those, and both cables have 7-pin connectors. I swear the capsules are different, but I could be wrong.

thanks. I think they use a 5-pin connector today. mine are probably original, even though they are different.
