I still use it for converting audio file formats. But I know at least one person who actually assembles and mixes projects using it.

Audacity still has one of the best sample rate converters (see Infinitewave SRC Comparisons). Good tool for mastering.

Did they give the UI a makeover yet? That's what always turned me off.
