Yeah, I thought of that. I don't think they will live anywhere permanently.

I started this about 1:00 today (2 hours ago):

US$25 piezos from monoprice recorded my Seagull.

Then I OD'd the Aerodyne thru the PF50t, and sanged through a 50 y.o. Shure mic.

No worries, mine are here from Monoprice. I haven't used them yet.

Pro musician friend of mine volunteered that my Seagull sounds "huge" as recorded through a pair of these on the final mix (not linked above).

Be quiet or they’ll go back up to $50.

I finally got around to using these today. I put them on the floor where I tend to like the 4050s in omni. The 4050s are usually around waist high. I think they are really workable room mics. I need to try some other things.

Yesterday I went on eBay and bought 3 Audio-Technica AT841UG Omni Boundary Mics with cables (XLR on the business end) for $50 and change including tax and delivery. Phantom powered, should have them fairly soon. They were pretty expensive new and these are in good condition from a seller with tons of feedback at 99.3% positive.

I have a jam session tomorrow with 1 or 2 others, using a drum-machine pedal (S-drum and/or Trio).

I'm thinking of using the boundary mic's into the Zoom R16 for shites and giggles (rather than my usual H2); I like to tape these sessions for new idears ...

I left my pair plugged in to the Focusrite, sitting on whatever surface was available, the last time I was recording some random song/riff ideas in my spare room studio. A lot less fuss than messing with mics, stands, and cables, for what I was doing.
They picked up my chair squeaking pretty well.
Remembering to tap the on switches was a minor pita.

I actually left phantom on, so when I walk into the dark studio, I see the blue LEDS and don't step on them when going to the lamp.
