Quite a few classical REs hang out at the Remote Possibilities in Location Recording & Production sub-forum at Gearspace. People like Tony Faulkner and Hudson Fair, as well as 'amateurs' like me. Pretty good bunch and a lot better signal to noise ratio than most of the rest of Gearspace.

As others have already said, Remote Possibilities over on Gearspace is a good place.

The Classical Music Location Recording Group on facebook is also pretty good, IMHO:

I'd recommend that it's good idea to do some homework on your topic before asking questions in these forums. Folks in these circles seem more likely to be helpful to someone who has put in some legwork already; not to mention you might get more out of any discussion that way.

Not insinuating that that you are the sort to NOT do your homework - I'm just speaking in general.
