Whaddya call these? (DB25 thumb-screw thingies)

Post by alexdingley » Mon Jul 18, 2022 12:00 pm

I'm trying to make some DB25 snakes... and I wanna order more of these, but the raw DB25 chassis I seem to keep finding have crumby little flat-head screw-down side screws. I want nice ones like those that came baked into these 'digidesign' snakes that I've now hacked apart.

Anyone know a good source for the DB25 connectors & shells? and/or can anyone tell me what to search for to find good "thumby screw-jawns"?

"Knurled DB-25 thumbscrews" is a good approximation of a name...Amazon gives me some links searching that.

They might need details to specifically interface a given backshell (flanges or recesses or whatever), so you might have to get the whole thing as a bundle:

"What fer?"
"Cat fur, to make kitten britches."
