So I'm trying to remember the name of the recording studio that was Motown Los Angeles before they got the huge space on sunset,or hollywood blvd.
I tech'd for Soul Asylum recording The Horse They Rode In On in 1990 (?),and we tracked most of the record live at A&M with a truck,on Charlie Chaplin's movie/soundstage,until we got kicked out for being too loud, then we went to this other place. It was not a giant building, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called, and I don't have Jordan's or Blaney's contact info anymore.

"Motown moved into the building in 1973 and the studio was known as “Hitsville West.” "?
