Looking for a computer-keyboard solution (shelf / arm)

Post by alexdingley » Sun Mar 19, 2023 7:25 am

Is anyone else working in a home studio / writing room with a similar lack of ergonomics? I am gonna be working in this space for the next year+ while I shop for a new house (which is where I'll finally do a proper build)... but for now, I need to be able to work (even if only for writing and small editing projects) without having the trackpad bouncing on piano keys or so far out of reach that I get a shoulder cramp.

Right now, I'm using small rubber feed stuck to the top of the roland piano deck, so that my mac keyboard can be balance and not press the roland's buttons — but the track pad is just laying on the far right side of the piano keys, or it's way farther off to the right on the upper right corner of the roland piano.
