Headphone recommendations?

So I recently had the displeasure of auditioning all the cans I have laying around the studio, and most of them sound so bad I would be embarrassed to put them on an artist. Tinny, crappy sound.

Here's the models that I DID like for mixing and tracking: Sony MDRV900, beyerdynamic DT 770, AKG K240M (although the AKG's need so much more juice than the others, my Coles headphone amp can't really drive them enough.)

Any recommendations for a fourth pair?

The rest are going in a heap in the closet.

I like the ATH-M30x and ATH-M40x. The ATH-M20x are Ok for tracking as well. 40's have a bit more bass so I usually hand those to the bass player when tracking. The 30's are kinda my "standard" (I have 2 pair and might get another some day). I have other stuff that I give to someone who is likely to step on them or whatever and I've got a pair of those "more-me" headphones that sound like crap but they are loud and mid-rangey for deaf guitarists.

I've mentioned before that I really like the Sony MDR V-150 for tracking, started using when my 7506's broke and I did not replace.

They have just enuff bleed that I can turn a guitar or bass amp off in the monitor mix in my bedio, but most vocal mic's won't pick it up.

Or you can DJ-flip one side.

And they sound fairly flat if no where near as bottom heavy as 7506's, et al.

I've purchased other "stupid deal" headphones and unless you are trying to punish someone's hearing, it's usually a waste of money.

I have some 20 Beyer DT990 / DT880 / DT770s here and a few others. They aren't perfect but sound okay and if i trip over the cable i can repair them easily.
For looong tracking hours with high volume the Remote Audio headphones that have the Sony capsules (75...err...you know, those Sony headphones) are king because the gel-fittet earcushions are comfortabel even after a whole day. Downside ist, they are heavy and expensive.
Then a few not-so-fancy headphones i can give to people that might trip often or be clumsy and are happy if the headphones are loud enough.

A few good channels of headphone amplifaction don't hurt - some headphones need a bit mroe juice. Also there are aftermarket earcushions for the Beyers that are thrice as thick .. and comfortabel, but don't stay on the head if there's headbanging involved.
