Scarlett 2i2 v3 worth it over v2?

I'm using a v2 and it works ok. I'm wondering if the v3 is a noticeable upgrade? It's currently on sale for $99 refurbed. I notice it has the "air" mode, but I'm not sure from reviews if I would use that much. I record into garageband on an ipad or audacity with the focusrite.

I realize there's a v4 out, but definitely don't need that. 99% of the time these are used for Roon endpoint DACs, and 1% for home recording.

I'm not sure how the V2 monitoring is but on the 3rd generation, hitting the "Direct Monitor" button drops the headphone volume considerably.
When I'm tracking with it, this feature drives me a bit crazy and I have to pop one earphone off to properly monitor the sound in the room.

If the V2 doesn't have this issue, I would stick with what you have.
