Try throwing on "Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangster" by the Ghetto Boys at your next shindig.
Other songs gauranteed to yield results:
- "Holy Calamity!" by Handsome Boy Modeling School
- "Rock and Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This)" also by Handsome Boy Modeling School
- "Just Like Heaven" by the Cure
- "So Watcha Want" by the Beastie Boys
- I agree with "Steal My Sunshine" by Len
- "Lady Don't Tek No" by Latyrx
- "Concrete Schoolyard" by Jurassic 5
- "Deceptacon" by Le Tigre
- "Million Things" by the All Girl Summer Fun Band
- "Just A Friend" by Biz Markie
- "C.R.E.A.M." by Wu Tang Clan
- "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead
- "93 to Infinity" by Souls of Mischief
- "To Tha Left" by Mass Influence and Dynamic Syncopated
These are just a handful of songs that most people could probably get behind, dance and/or sing along to. Of course, it also varies with your friends. My friends would really dig it if someone threw on "Do You Still Hate Me?" by Jawbreaker or "Cannonball" by the Breeders or "Clenched Fist, Black Eye" by 7 Seconds. I could seriously make a list a mile long. It depends on your and your friends' taste.
YOU CAN'T ESCAPE THE DANGER!

Absolutely Fela!
And if you haven't heard or seen Antibalas, they do a lot of Fela and Fela sounding stuff. Excellent music from Brooklyn via Lagos!
I also hear that Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are excellent, fun, and funky.
Sugarman 3 as well.
But Back in Black can't be beat either. And Highway to Hell is always good.
But Sly is the king.

agreed on Dub Narcotic. Would also like to add the Meters. Both great party music bands and great bands in general.

XTC's "Statue of Liberty"!
Not sure what it is, but it's fun.
