unbelievable. where did you find the link to it? it doesn't sound like it was time-compressed or anything. key, tempo, jeez. all same. friggin' hillarious.
the lowest common demominator just loves the rock ballad. these types of songs are so marketed to video. a mini-drama for the teenagers. like aerosmith songs. no offense, but their latest work is sheit.
anyway, 'nuff said.

Yes, It has been confirmed for some time now that Nickelback and other corporate rock bands still suck massive donkey dick.
Also, as another finn on the board, The Sauna is a great thing. My grandmother still has one in her house.

No, really, wow. No, really, wow.
Maybe we could sue the RIAA for selling us plagiarised music.
Make'em give us our nickel back.

I kinda like it. I imagine they were being hassled to write another "insert lame hit song name here" and instead of trying to do so they just did the same one again! Anarchists and visionaries I say.
Of course I have somehow avoided ever hearing them before so....My opinion value < shite.

Ive actually always had a soft spot in my heart for nickelback. I hate most bands like them but they're not 'bad' like others...

tits + acoustic guitar/pretty face*(hooks)-((imperfection/pitch correction)+ass) = $1,000,000.00

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Don't you know it! I called my 19 year old daughter in and she told me in no uncertain terms that the newer Avril song was sped up to mach "Complicated". I'll take her word for it. I personally don't listen to any of that shit. It all sounds alike to me. The scary thing is that's what my parents said about Zeppelin and the Doors!tits + acoustic guitar/pretty face*(hooks)-((imperfection/pitch correction)+ass) = $1,000,000.00

Don't let it fool you. Pitch Correction, time compression.
It doesn't matter.
Could be a different key or a different tempo.
It's still the same freaking thing!
Music has the ability of being one of the most diverse and expressive
art forms available to us as humans.
What this crap is - is not art.
These are 3-5 minute product placements. Big freaking commercials.
Ads spewed out by an ancient and corrupt system of payola and good 'ol
boy back rubbing. Market analyzed and sterilized for the ignorant masses.
I guarantee any of the executives responsible for
getting this shite reproduced and distributed would not care one whit
if it was all the same. Every damn song.
You see, good music takes work, not a lot, but the first time you
listen to it you may not realize what's going on. It might even (gasp!)
sound odd to you. It makes you think and challenges you mentally.
It's the difference in reading an intelligently put together book and
a magazine article in people. One is artistic, thoughtful, writing the other is Lowest Common Denominator reporting.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.

Why would you post that? You just ruined my morning. I hoped to never have to hear a Nickelback song again. And now, at this wee hour of day, I've heard two. Thanks for nothing.
