Peluso 22 47 (Neumann U47 clone). I already have 2 and would like at least 1-2 more. The sound is just like a combination of a U47 tube and a U47 FET. They have that WOW factor!

But business aside, it's kinda funny that for as much as I'm not partial to single point stereo, I've always been fascinated by the Soundfield Microphones. No great wonder of sound - actually very neutral for the obvious reasons, but they are so damn cool.
Dude, if I had enough money for one of those soundfield microphones, I'd buy a car instead.

If I had enough money for your RCA, I'd....buy a really shitty car instead.

Anybody have a car they don't need?

OK, so I am going to be greedy and unrealistic, because I would never drop the cash on it unless I was so rich that I never had to worry about shelter, food, and clothing ever again:

A Blue Bottle mic with all the Bottle Caps.
not to worry, just keep tracking....

I've wanted one of those since Joe's Garage. I didn't even know what it was then. Now I do and I want one even more.

Yeah, let's assume that we don't say that we want the most expensive mic man can buy, knowing that we'd just re-sell it and buy a bunch of other things.

In any case, I've been thinking about this recently. The things I feel like I'm missing the most are a top-tier dynamic (which is not really necessary right now),a real-pro quality condenser (which there's no way I could afford), and a measurement mic set. Truthfully, I'd like a Avenson/Stapes mic set more than anything right now, as anything more expensive would be less useful to me overall and would result in me selling it and buying those mics and other stuff on top.

The only true great mic on this planet is the Shure SM-57. It is the most consistant in not totally sucking of anything ever built. All other mics are "application dependant".

All I want is a pair of KM184s. I'd like a whole bunch of stuff like a BLUE Bottle with all the capsules, but those two suckers would probably be the most useful ones.

MMMMmmm... yes. A nice pair in that sweet box. Yum.

There are so many mics I'd love to have, but I gotta agree - these would be a perfect top to the list.

Practically, I'd like to get a pair of MD441's. If money were no object, I'd like to get a pair of vintage C12s.

I once worked at a place that had a vintage C24. It's the stereo version of the C12. Most amazing mic I've ever heard.

some sort of stereo mic for overheads room whatever on a drum set. i do wish gefell or DPA or soundelux or maybe that sanken company would make something... you know in the 3-4K list range...

so i guess a royer stereo ribbon would be mine...i think the powered one...a fet47 for bass wouldn't be a bad call either.

I want one of everything, and actually stereo pairs of most.

Semi realistically Some of the Royer Ribbons.

Closer to realistically, Beyer M-160
