I would recomend you check out an AKG solidtube. You can get them rather cheap these days. I have this and a Blueberry and for female vocals this always wins. I would also audition a 414 on her voice before decide to buy it. In my experiance on some female voicces it can tend to be to sibilent and bright. Also don't froget if you turn the mic off axis a little that can some times help with the harshness.

Any tips on the best dealers that work well on auditioning mics, or other ideas for auditioning?

You could be amazed at the results of just a simple SM58. If you can get your hands on a Royer R122 you won't be dissapointed. I have been amazed a lot at how great the Shure SM 58 is on vocals.

P.S. Royer R122 is a ribbon/condenser hybrid. Her voice has some body to it. The Royer really accomodates a lot of that with a well rounded yet unaffected sound.
