The API lunch box and the 512c's.
You could buy a couple OSA MP1-L's if you want something different later.
Are you implying that an OSA pre will fit in an API chasis!?!
One of the guys that worked for API replyd to a post of mine stating that they dont/cant recommend doing so:(
Id love a mix between them & the Brent Averill stuff!
Is there anybody that does this themselves?

maybe because he just wanted to sell you on buying more from API? it's to my knowledge that they are the same exact card style/form factor/whatever... it's a clone, so it's designed to use the same box too.

Anyone know where to find one of these or something like it? Neither of the three mentioned on this post have bantam and I agree that the newer API 6-rack does not seem up to par.
Maybe I will try to find a used API box from a few years back. From what all of have said they seem to be a better build quality. The Averill ones look pretty decent too, especially the power supply. It would be cool to have API, Averill, and OSA able to fit in the same box.

In my BAE lunchbox I have 2 BAE 312As, Api 512C, Api 560B, OSA MP1-C and OSA MP1-L. They all fit and work fine.
Anyone want my OSAs?

Interesting. I have a pair of the OSA mutants. I love them for vocals with my SM-7. Also as a bass DI with my SC-50 after it.

my BAE will not fit all 6 of my modules! the API EQ's have a case around them which makes the final 312 a too tight fit...hmm...

That's a simple fix....just take the casing off the API EQ's. We did it here and it works great, I have two 550b's in my OSA rack completely filled with no problems. I think it's 4 screws on each case that hold the casing on the API's.
