hello does anyone know how do I copy audio files from Yamaha 4416 DAW so they can be imported to protools?

Not familiar with that particular unit. If it has an internal CD burner, see if you can export individual tracks as wave files (.wav). You can then import these into protools.

I tried, and i need a CD per track..it kinda sucks takes 16 CDs to transfer one song..I think I am doing something wrong. And some tracks copied incomplete....have no idea why

there's some GREAT shareware called awextract that converts the 4416 files to wave files with song names intact. i used it to do exactly what you want to do. i can't remember the website anymore but i'm sure you can find it with google.
the 4416's export feature absolutely sucks!
