Hey call me crazy, but it's a 16x8 board and I don't see the eight. I see the 16 input channels, but are the buses those eight red knobs at the right? I would recommend digging around the net and trying to find a manual and some rear view shots before bidding on a board like that. It looks like it could either be really cool or a real waste of time and money. You need to know if it will interface with your current gear (multi-track, etc.) and more detail about its features like EQ and aux capabilities. Was it meant for live or recording? Do you want to use it for live or recording? You know, the little things.

I know Fletcher (over at the PSW forums) really raves about his Yamaha board, but I don't know if it's the same model or not. You should post this question over at Fletcher's forum.

The Yamaha Fletcher digs is the PM1000 - looks kinda similar to this one, but...different.
