Adjusting Azimuth on an 80-8

Post by glue unit » Tue Nov 25, 2003 2:12 pm

I bought this 80-8 off Eeldip and I just got my MRL and the thing is dead &*)(*&()**_) on at 250 reference flux. I can't believe my eyes.

Well anyway the azimuth is off by about 30 degrees at 16 K on both the synch and repro heads. Do I adjust the whole headblock to get them both right or do I adjust the individual heads seperatly and how?

Eddie Ciletti's website is the best place to check out all things analogue related!

According to the Owner's Reference Manual, adjust the heads individually. There are a pair of tiny hex screws on top of each head.

Let me know if you need any more specific information from the manual.
