MD 409 Vs 609e???

How do these compare??? I know the 609 is a reissue... How does it stack up 2 its predecessor??? ( They rarely do ;( )

They dont. One is not better than the other, just different.

I have always liked the 409's when I would bother to use one. I used a 609 on an old tweed fender champ turned all the way up, right next to a BK5,
and that sounded really good. Nice and up front, and gnarly... but listenable...
