Yep. I need a nice audio CD burner (not a computer one) that will not put tiny little gaps between songs, and will record a live recording with out any trouble.
I was looking into the Yamaha-S1000, which is no longer made. But have heard it has lots of repair issues.
Any recomendations, even discontinued ones?
cd burner recomendations?
Re: cd burner recomendations?
This one is still available:

A friend of mine has one at his studio, uses it all the time in fact. Has a reel-to-reel setup, and is what he uses to finalize discs, off to be mastered.
Works like a charm, though he always has a number of "false" starts on the disc; but such is the case with a standalone burner.
The HHB, of course, is fail-proof, in my opinion. However, cheaper ($$$), refurbished models such as this:

will get the job done, though you'll soon grow weary of the limited features and wish you had something with more capabilites and finalizing/preview options.
Just my thoughts.
