Is this the second time I've brought her up in a week? What's wrong with me?

She's on the Today Show as we speak. I know it's early in the morning, and no one sounds good singing this early in the morning.... but she sounds HORRIBLE! She's as pitchy as a Red Sox game. Jeez, I scratch my head at who gets record deals and turned into pop stars and who doesn't. I'm offended.

and we all watch her for her voice... am i the only one who will admit she's a cutey. i hate her, but she's adorable with her little "tenneage rage" scrunched face. i just wanna hug the girl.

Yeah, she's like the direct 21st century analogue to Tiffany.

You know who's even worse than Avril is that FeFe Dobson chick... she's like the imitation Avril, who is like imitation music.

Listening to any of that shit is like eating ice cream for every meal. When you're 10 years old, it seems like a great idea, and you can probably get away with it.

But if you're a little older, it's just gonna make your stomach hurt.

I want to buy all the Avril albums (all 1 of them?) and learn how to make records that teenage girls love. Analyze the fuck out of it, songwriting wise, production wise, sequencing wise. Generate spectrograms of the mixes, to see which frequencies capture her audience's attention. Map out the BPM's of the songs.

When it's all done I will use my scientific knowledge to beneficial socio-political ends. I will make albums with an Avril-like wrapper, and my own radical evolutionary content. The teenage girls of today will be the working and voting citizens of tomorrow! They will be proud of their bodies and not feel compelled to buy legions of products from the Beauty industry! They will assert their rights for self determination and self pleasure! They will vote Kucinich in 2008!

Hey, wait 'till you're 40 or 50.....sexiness is ageless, dude. Sure, a 20 something hottie will get your attention, and still gets mine, but I never woulda guessed that a 50+ might do the same, now. It's all the same when the lights go out.......
