The John Kerry Band!
Is apparently called 'The Electras' and their album came out in 1962. Being the right tall geek he is, it seems he played bass for them.
Anybody heard this?

Re: The John Kerry Band!
I saw that on CNN this am. Remember, Tony Blair was a rocker too. And, of course, Bill Clinton and his sax.
Re: The John Kerry Band!
This really begs the question.
What does Bush play?
(yeah, still totally OT)

Cool Stuff!! Thanks HypnotistCollector. It holds its own. Would probably make Joe Meek proud. I really like the guitarist's stylings.

Re: The John Kerry Band!
YES! Kerry has got the fuzzy bass going. Nice!
Re: The John Kerry Band!
The rhythm guitarist?
I like Kerry's bass. How would you describe it?
Grumbly?
Woofy?
Rubberband-y?
It's like those low-mids are huffing at you. I dig it. Definitely presidential material.

I was referring to the lead player's instrumentals. Real Fender/Vibro/Surf, with a graceful feel.

Re: The John Kerry Band!
i actually think this is pretty awesome.
although, what does it say about kerry?
he was a bass player. known for being quiet and in the background of the group.
representing the low end, rhythm and often counter-melodies....
is this really leadership material?
edit: given, his bass sounds totally boss. and the music isn't that bad....
hmm. clinton played the saxophone...
