fitzcarraldo.

cause running our studio is often like trying to haul a steamship over an amazonian jungle mountain.

The old home studio was called Zeebley Smeel Studios for reasons too stupid to get into. The abandoned bar where the DWLB record was made was called "The Fort." My dining room is just referred to as my dining room, but since I do work for my company (Toxic Bag Productions) there, it might be Toxic Bag Studio, but we haven't bothered to name it.

"Lots of people are nostalgic for analog. I suspect they're people who never had to work with it." ? Brian Eno

All the DWLB music is at http://dwlb.bandcamp.com/

I'd probably just call it 'Rigsby's', that's got a nice laid back feel to it IMO. Dark red sign, in a hand written style, a bit like cheers, but less stylised.
The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away.

I call my place "Minivan Studios"
because it's a bit like recording in a minivan.

but after posting silly studio names in the off topic forum (and reading the Walter Sear thread), I'm liking the name "AnalSound" more and more.

I, a recreational drinker of Greek descent with sole custody of two children, have a bedroom studio (speaking of bass traps, it even has a waterbed!) in my house, q.e.d,

I don't really record many other people.

The Congo Studio..

named after an old song I wrote back when I was assembling recording gear.
It was either going to be that or "The Milkbar" and "The Congo" stuck better...
