In sonar, applying mix settings from one song to another?

Post by sambainbridge » Tue Sep 07, 2004 1:34 pm

Is there a way to transfer levels and plug in settings from one song in sonar, to another one. By the way, I am using Sonar 3.

Pen and paper.

You can save the presets on the effects but you still need to add the effects to each channel.

I have stopped doing one song per project and do the whole thing in one project. I leave some space between the songs and use markers a lot. This works for getting a quick demo or EP done with a uniform sound.

or you can open the file that you want the mixing applied to and copy and paste it into the file with the mix and effects allready applied. I've done this before when I've done a project where all the tracks were recorded in the same order per file.
