While I can't really comment on the quality of the room, I met Tony at the TapeOp Conference and he's a really great and knowledgable guy. I wouldn't have any problem checking out Oxide Lounge.

As a matter of fact, we all went out to dinner and it was like an upper-midwest vs. Southeast meeting-of-the minds. Tony sat next to me and Mark Rubel form Pogo sat across from me. You could check out Mark's place, too. He's a really cool guy and he's located in Champaign, IL. www.pogostudio.net

I think it's probably a little far, but Air Time in Bloomington, IN is also a great studio. I have a buddy there named Matt Everhart who is a FANTASTIC engineer.

Hope this helps.

Pogo in Champaign is very nice. Also, Great Western Record Recorders has a great live room, it's in Tolono, IL, just outside of Champaign.
