Anyone using a Pendulum MDP-1?

Post by Coco » Wed Nov 24, 2004 7:37 am

These are now available in Canada and am thinking of buying one. Any of you guys/girls using this pre? If so how do you like it and what can you tell me about it. I would hate to shell out $3000 CDN and not like it. Thanks to all who respond.
I know enough to know that I don't know what I am doing.

Pendulum has a very strong positive reputation for sonics and quality. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone who flat out disliked this preamp. Personally, I found it to be preferable on acoustic guitar, overheads, and vocals. It has a very open euphonic sound, it is the least mushy/soft sounding tube design that I have heard.

Best of luck,
