Mpls- let's get this meeting set

I've known a couple of friends who organized a standing date for get togethers. Obviously, they're not considered mandatory, but it's a reliable way for at least a few people to get together. Two examples: "Third Thursday" (artist friends on the North Shore) and every Thursday night (my neighbor friends at the Groveland Tap).

Since everybody is busy recording, staying employed, and getting their outdoor fix before the blizzards hit, maybe a monthly date? I'd say either the last Wednesday or the first Saturday sounds good. For Aug/Sep, that would mean Aug 27 (Wed) 7pm or Sept 6(Sat) 11am.

Unfortunately, I can't make either date for the first one, but that's why a standing date would be fun. Guarantees another chance

Saturdays would be better for me to make the trek from Winona. However I might be able to sneak out for a Wednesday meeting.

I am not sure about this first one. That is the first week of school here at the University (darn day jobs seem to get in the way of progress). This time of the year people can be demanding when it comes to technical support.

wed is good...saturdays are often too busy for me. but for the folks who travel (i.e. winona) maybe it coul be like wed in sept, sat in oct, etc...

Hey, I think you got a great idea......but it's summer and I'm just going to take a stab here....all the studio rats here might be able to use some sunlight. Why not try a picnic /BBQ down by Minnehaha falls or something. Could be outside, have a boombox blaring, maybe a little KFC(x-tra crispy). Just a thought. I'll go along with anything really.....just no Applebees!
