I agree with you on the AT3035. It's great for the money. Vocal tracks sound awesome using the AT3035 through an Avalon M5...

I heard it at AES in San Fran. Granted, it's pretty difficult to get a good listen on the floor, but what I heard was a $100 mic. My gut reaction is that the 2020 would be a good "over-flow" mic, but not a "go-to" one.
That being said, AT has always impressed me with thier mics, especially at the price point they sell them.
I'm actually considering buying a dozen or so and giving them away with purchases from my store.
