Appears to be a Guild G302A (Or at least that what I think it's called. I know the bass versions are the B300/B302...the 2 denotes the 2-pickup version. The A means it's an Ash body.)

Guild made some wacky solid bodies in the 60's. Fred Cole from Dead Moon still plays one something like this.

i dunno, but that was definitely taken at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco... i would recognize that brick wall and broken window thingy anywhere.wing wrote:
actually, it looks like it might be univox guitar, or maybe even a hagstrom, but i think the guy who called the guild may be right.

That's a Guild. I would guess it's an 80's Guild, judging from the speed knobs, but that could be a DIY job. The body is Guild for sure though.

It's a Guild. My Guild bass was made in 1980, it's a fretless one-pickup. Set neck, sounds good. If I find one cheap I may get the fretted 2-pickup version--I like the pickups, they have a nice edge that would be good on a fretted bass.
I was looking for an inexpensive fretless, and was considering Mexico Fenders, but this Guild played/sounded better. By far.

It's definitely a Guild, and will sound pretty SGish.

Yup, a Guild, and will sound somewhere between SG and Les Paul, due to the heavier-than-SG body.
