Where to Buy Bulk Cable?

Post by BJohnston » Wed Jan 05, 2005 6:06 pm

I need to buy bulk cable and connectors for wiring up my studio. I need a bunch of balanced cabling to solder to 50 pin connectors for Direct Outs and inserts. Where can you get reasonably priced calbe and various connectors? I'd love any help.

Thanks for your time,
B.

Have Inc. has all sorts of bulk cables. The prices are pretty good (I'm sure there are better deals to be had, but none found by me). Don't know if they have exactly what you want.

FWIW, they get my business

Redco has some decent products and nice prices. I believe they'll even wire up harnesses for you.

A few other places to try, but they're not specific to wire, cable and musical stuff is Digikey, Allied Electrinics, Mouser & Newark Electronics.

I buy cable from Markertek. Good deals on Neutrik XLR hardware too. Much cheaper than Mouser or DigiKey.

MARKERTEK. defintely. i usually buy star quad from them for .36 a foot and i usually spring a little more for the black neautrik XLRs, but the regular silver ones (nc3mx, nc3fx) are like 1.50-ish....dirt-flippin-cheap.
