jeff tweedy bemonas the loss of tape on Wall Street Journal

Post by aworryingthing » Thu Jan 13, 2005 9:56 am

i was on the train last night and peering over the shoulders of a man next to me, saw a drawing of Jeff Tweedy on the front pages of the Wall Street Journal. he was being interviewed about the shortage of tape in recording today. the article also interviewed steve albini.

i didn't get a chance to read the entire article. has anyone read this?

Turns out Jeff Tweedy was mad at Steve Albini for having one more syllable in his last name than necessary. I understand things got ugly and there was tape involved, but i don't know the specifics.
