RCA 44-BX Doesn't Fit Mic Stands

Post by Girl Toes » Thu Jan 13, 2005 1:01 pm

My RCA 44-BX won't screw onto any mic stands, and requires something with a wider diameter to attach to. Are there any adapters or anything to fit it to the standard size?

Yes. There's a guy on ebay that sells these things every once in a while. I imagine you could probably also get one from Clarence Kane or Wes Dooley or any of the usual RCA mic guys. They're not terribly uncommon or anything.

Clarence Kane was a design engineer for RCA. He currently owns ENAK Microphone Repair in NJ.
